Vineyard: This wine is made from old vines of the Marsanne and Roussane grape varieties located on the major terroirs of Domaine Gilles Robin (Monico, Terres Rouges, Les Pends) with soils dating from the Quaternary era. For this cuvée, the precise interpretation of each plot is as important as the final assembly of the various expressions of each grape variety. Les Marelles is the pure definition of a specific approach to viticulture, natural and respectful of the environment. Its cultivation is done on vines between 10 and 40 years old.
Vinification: The harvest is done manually . The berries are put in direct pneumatic pressing. The juice ferments at low temperature and is aged for 6 months in the room for the Marsanne grape variety and in vats for the Roussane grape variety before then blending the two grape varieties.
