Light slate soil
Vines grown just right down bank side of the Mosel river. Special climat perfect for the Riesling. Organic farming, no chemical and as less of human intervention.
Hand-picked selection mid-October with optimal ripeness. Grapes are gently crushed and macerated 4 hours on the berry-skins. The must was subsequently fermented at 16°C, so that the typical grape aroma could develop. A gentle expansion on the lees followed fermentation to get a fine and fruity character.
Green tinge yellow pale gold.
Minerality expression with peach aromas and white pepper spice.
Fresh attack with a nice acidity balance. Apple, pear and white peach aromas with delicate white pepper overtones finish.
Elegant fruits and spice definition.
Awarded Mosel best Riesling. Fabulous work for a good value quality wine.
